Congress Defining Comp Sex Ed
The “Real Education for Healthy Youth Act” was introduced in Congress last week. This is the first piece of national legislation that defines “comprehensive sexuality education” and includes grant allocations for comprehensive sexuality education for adolescents and for institutions of higher education. Colorado Congresswoman Diana DeGette is among the 28 initial co-sponsors in the House.
