OASOS

OASOS (Open & Affirming Sexual Orientation & gender identity Support) aims to increase healthy behaviors and decrease risky behaviors among LGBTIQ youth through support, advocacy, and education.

OASOS runs weekly peer support groups for questioning, queer, intersex, pansexual, transgender, bisexual, lesbian and gay youth, ages 13-20. In addition to weekly groups, the OASOS Program Specialists provide free and confidential crisis intervention, referral, and support services to LGBTIQ youth and adults in their lives.

The Healthy Colorado Youth Alliance is dedicated to ensuring that all youth have access to complete and age appropriate sexual health education, resources and services, so that they can make informed, responsible decisions and lead healthy, happy lives. In addition to helping local school districts implement the standards laid out in Colorado law, The Alliance is building a statewide coalition of advocates for quality and complete sexual health education.
