Denver Teen Pregnancy Prevention Partnership

The purpose of the Denver Teen Pregnancy Prevention Partnership is to implement comprehensive, evidence-based programming through a partnership model to prevent teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections in three schools in the Denver Public School District.

With the initial goal to streamline and coordinate services, this project provides an opportunity for six community-based organizations to work collectively toward the common goal of reducing the incidence of teen births and sexually transmitted diseases in Kepner Middle School, West and Lincoln High Schools.

The Healthy Colorado Youth Alliance is dedicated to ensuring that all youth have access to complete and age appropriate sexual health education, resources and services, so that they can make informed, responsible decisions and lead healthy, happy lives. In addition to helping local school districts implement the standards laid out in Colorado law, The Alliance is building a statewide coalition of advocates for quality and complete sexual health education.

To sustain its leadership, education and advocacy throughout Colorado, The Alliance relies on the financial contributions of its members and supporters.
