our mission

The Healthy Colorado Youth Alliance seeks to reduce rates of unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, in Colorado youth by ensuring that all young people have access to science-based, comprehensive, medically-accurate, culturally sensitive, and age-appropriate sexuality education, information and resources to make informed decisions about their health and relationships.

    Lisa Olcese - Executive Director

    Lisa Olcese brings over two decades of nonprofit management experience – as an advocate, trainer, leadership coach and communications specialist – to her role as the Executive Director of The Healthy Colorado Youth Alliance. She previously served as the Education Director with Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN), where she oversaw a K-12 violence prevention program and developed trainings on ethical communication, volunteer development and building multiracial, inclusive organizations. Lisa is a graduate of Smith College and a master practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming.
